Meet Dr. Melissa Rosenfeld
Dr. Melissa Rosenfeld is the principal health care provider at Oceanside Family Dental. She has been part of the Oceanside community since 1994. She received her doctorate degree from New York University Dental School. She then completed a two-year residency as an intern and as chief resident at Peninsula Hospital Center in Far Rockaway, NY.
She also received extensive and advanced training during a two-year program in Comprehensive Implant Dentistry at New York University. The curriculum included surgical techniques for dental implants, as well as implant prosthetic reconstruction. Dr. Rosenfeld received postgraduate training in advanced periodontal therapy at Bronx/Montefiore Medical Center as well.

Meet Dr. Thierry Abitbol
Dr. Thierry Abitbol has practiced the dental specialty of periodontics since 1990. He earned his bachelor's degree at the University of Pennsylvania and attended Boston University for his doctoral and postdoctoral training. As a board-certified periodontist, Dr. Abitbol is an established expert in his field. Dr. Abitbol has also maintained high quality of patient care by combining private practice with other activities, which have included: a teaching position at New York University Dental School, lecturers presented nationally and internationally, scientific publications, and product development and research for a major dental materials company.

Meet Dr. Arlyn Fraim
Dr. Arlyn Fraim is originally from Panama City, Panama but lived in South Florida for 12 years prior to moving for dental school. She attended Florida Atlantic University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in health administration. She then went on to attend Touro College of Dental Medicine where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.

Meet Dr. Aviva Zaghi
Dr. Aviva Zaghi graduated Summa Cum Laude from Yeshiva University Stern College for Women with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. She then earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry. She furthered her education by completing her General Practice Residency at Northwell Health Long Island Jewish Medical Center.
Dr. Zaghi has always had a passion for helping others, and growing up, she was drawn to science and art. She loves working with her hands and has an eye for detail. She chose to study dentistry as it gives her the opportunity to treat her patients through her passions. She enjoys the unique balance of patient interaction and working with her hands to help her patients achieve healthy and beautiful smiles.
