Meet The Doctors
Meet Dr. Melissa Rosenfeld
Dr. Melissa Rosenfeld is the principal health care provider at Oceanside Family Dental. She has been part of the Oceanside community since 1994. She received her doctorate degree from New York University Dental School. She then completed a two-year residency as an intern and as chief resident at Peninsula Hospital Center in Far Rockaway, NY.
She also received extensive and advanced training during a two-year program in Comprehensive Implant Dentistry at New York University. The curriculum included surgical techniques for dental implants, as well as implant prosthetic reconstruction. Dr. Rosenfeld received postgraduate training in advanced periodontal therapy at Bronx/Montefiore Medical Center as well.
Meet Dr. Zachary Goldsmith
Dr. Goldsmith is our in-house board-certified Periodontist and Implant Surgeon. He performs a wide variety of procedures including Scaling and Root Planing, Osseous Surgery, Guided Bone/Tissue Regeneration, Soft Tissue Grafting, Dental Implants, Sinus Augmentation, Surgical Extractions and Site Preservation, etc.
Dr. Goldsmith graduated Cum Laude from Queens College. He then attended NYU College of Dentistry, where he graduated in the top 5% out of a class of more than 400 students. He was also inducted into the prestigious national dental honor society Omicron Kappa Upsilon.
